Toshiba Sattelite C55d-A or HP Chromebook14??? 10 PONTS?
I'm not sure if I should get the Toshiba Sattelite or the HP Chromebook14? Any reviews would be very appreciated! I would be mostly using it for school work and going on the internet Smile The windows 8 software is v good but the price of the laptop is quite high :/ I need to know if I'm spending my money wisely?! 10 POINTS BEST ANSWER

I would go with the Toshiba one thing the brand! I have a Toshiba satellite from 2007 that is still working. Also you cannot do a lot on the chromebook say you want to download need for speed you cant on the chromebook. I dont think you can watch youtube videos on the cromebook either. If I were you I would not buy the chromebook but thats just me.

Mooch1441 is as right as can be. Toshiba can do a lot more than a lousy Chromeboook. Newegg.com has all the laptops in the world to choose from at great prices. Good luck!

Be sure you use the laptop's keyboard if you compose letters, theses, manuscripts or just plain notes or whatever.

In my humble opinion, the tiles on the keyboard are too flat & too large - causing way too many typos. Other than that, the Toshiba 505 Satellite has been outstanding.

You cannot compare a chrome book with a regular laptop, they are not designed to do the same, a chrome book is heavily dependent on Internet access, without it you can do very little. It's ok for Internet browsing, social networking and playing music, it has very little storage, any significant storage is done with google drive on the cloud,it is not compatible with any Microsoft programs or mainstream games.
If you have a choice go for the tosh.
