Almost every revenue source on the internet comes from Advertising. If your page is popular enough, you can charge a lot of money to place ads on your blog, because everybody will be fighting to get their ads on it. When you're a nobody with no traffic to his site, nobody is going to be interested in placing ads on your site, so you won't be able to charge hardly anything, and the only companies that will pay you will be Google AdWords, and they pay fractions of pennies for dozens of hits.

You have to generate HUGE traffic to your own site. And if I knew how to do that, I wouldn't be in here. LOL

Hello Dee,

As others have said advertising is the source of internet incomes for many. By linking to external product sales pages or pay per click/pay per sale advertising from within the body of your posts you achieve excellent keyword placement. The main goal is to write posts that are unique then work on getting inbound links to your site/posts from other sites using pingbacks forum signaturess etc. In time your site will get higher regard from search engines. ie: higher ranking. Higher ranking = more traffic. More traffic = more sales.

Hope this helps.

As others have said promoting is the wellspring of web wages for a lot of people. By interfacing to outer item deals pages or pay for every click/pay for every deal publicizing from inside the collection of your posts you attain fabulous watchword arrangement. The primary objective is to compose posts that are special then chip away at getting inbound connections to your site/posts from different destinations utilizing pingbacks discussion signaturess and so forth. In time your site will get higher respect from web crawlers. ie: higher positioning. Higher positioning = more movement. More movement = more deals.

First you make your blog.
Then you allow others to advertise on it. They pay you for this.
Any time anyone clicks on one of the ads, you get paid for that too (called a referral)
Sometimes, you get a "kickback" if they make anything out of the referral.
Google, for instance, will help you set this up.

You can also get paid for endorsing, recommending, or writing favorable reviews of softwares or other stuff (as happens with on line magazines, for instance)

Basically, that's it.

However-
Another almost universally popular way - collect lists of the people who join your site, or harvest their details if they just go to your site, and then sell the list. (Even shops do that, if you ever pay by credit card)
Or you could just let "3rd parties" have access to your site and gather the details themselves, or track whatever visitors do or go. You can get paid for that, too.
There is a lot of cross referencing. Advertising companies build very detailed profiles this way.

Examples of organisations that harvest and sell/share your personal details with or without your permission are - Google, Chrome, Facebook, Twitter, almost all other social networking sites, thousands of blog sites, etc etc.
Sometimes I wonder why NSA and FBI even bother.
