i met this beautiful girl, like VERY beautiful girl last yr in class. we knew each other but didn't talk outside of class. i saw her again today in the computer lab and she remembered me. we talked for a little and i added her on facebook. she has a boyfriend according to her profile (stalker status i know lol)

i don't know if she likes me or not but should i even bother?

i'm not the most handsome guy but i'm debating whether i should say hi to her over messenger sometime. if so, what should my opening message be?

DON'T MESSAGE HER! Just wait till her birthday and post on her timeline to wish her happy birthday. That's it! That's all. If she wants to talk to you then let her come to you then. You already admit to being a creeper/stalker, so please don't make this more uncomfortable for her. Did you flirt with her in class last year? Do you guys text? If she's interested in you last year, you would've been able to tell. Most girls in this day and age are not shy and wishy-washy especially the ones who are beautiful.

@John: "Hey " is the creepiest message you could have possibly sent. If you do decide to message her, you need a "pretext". Not just a "hey!" Girls like her are accustomed to being chased and fawned over. You need something to reassure her that a. you're not a creep and b. you don't have an agenda. A simple "hey!" is the classic "try harder" line.

Dude, what is stopping you from talkin to her? Just talk to her a bit, get the convo going.
If your stuck with message starters a simple hey is usually not too bad and then asking how her day was, what she was working on in comp lab etc. there is absolutely nothing stopping you from talking to her, so give it a shot

For one yes you should. I am considered somewhat popular at school and one thing I hate is when guys who aren't extremely good-looking or popular think that they can't talk to girls that they think are out of there league. You seem like a sweet guy and if you have a nice personality and are easy to talk to theres no reason why she wouldn't want to talk to you. Honestly, just go for it! You have nothing to lose by doing it. Straight up just say hey but make sure to keep your distance a bit if she does have a boyfriend because you don't want to cause problems with them . good luck hun

DO NOT WAIT FOR HER TO APPROACH. If she does not, you'll lose your opportunity.

Maybe things won't work out here, but at least you'll have the opportunity to know her better and get close together.

Just text her a welcome note and talk anything about the last conversation you had. You could try by posting a question and asking for her suggestion in that.
