I want to build a page using Homestead with condensed content and post affiliate links as opposed to an ongoing blog with wordpress, how would i drive traffic to a website like this?

Make quality content, let the search engines do the driving. Doesn't make sense to me to create ultra condensed pages to send traffic to a condensed page.

The conventional backlink sources can apply, though the payoff is less for mini content like a single hubpage. This helps find easy to get low benefit links http://dropmylink.com/

Your biggest driver of traffic is to build a good link system. Regardless of what some may say Google still puts great emphasis on quality RELEVANT back links. Also don't forget quality content will also push you up.

If you did a great job with your Keyword research then you should have some highly profitable keywords with low supply and high demand. If you have done this right you are on the right track.
