Links freeze?
I am having this same problem using Windows 7, Mac OSX, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari. When I click on My Portfolio (from My Yahoo) it brings me to the page where I can see all of my tickers with the recent news links below. When I click on any stock news link (URL), I can see that any browser I use begins to load but stops. If I click on the main finance tab, my recent stock tickers are on the left hand side. If I click on one of the stock tickers individually, I am brought to just that stock news and I can access the recent news that way (links load). I would like to get back to being able to view all my stock tickers\recent news at the same time and be able to have working news links. I have scanned for viruses using McAfee and scanned for viruses using Window Defender by scanning for viruses during startup off of a CD. I have deleted by cache, history, turned off my router for five minutes. I even tried creating a new account... same problems. Thanks

Post IE version.

Post if you look at Windows Updates daily.

WU has security updates for me IE 10 almost daily;

and other Windows system updates.

Do you know your net connection speed?

http://www.tracemyip.org/ should tell you & there are other progs that will.

since the prob is browser-wide, try disabling your firewall temporarily to see if it,s the prob.

I had to delete McAfee before I could get online at all w/ a new Lenovo w/ Win7 and IE.

I have Microsoft Security Essentials rather than Win Defender. MSE is the only anti vir & fire wall I run.

Don,t have two anti vir programs active at once.
