a girl showed me signs that she liked me, she look at me once smiling, she even took a pic of me and would glance at me was I was near occasionally but i never returned them, i was too scarednext after weeks of this I got the vibe that she was mad/sad (?), she didnt look at me but I knew for sure she knew when i was around. Then last week I grew a pair and smiled at her and she looked at me then away back at me then away(to see if i was really looking at her or?), then she looked down smiling as she passed me, thats what i remember, i dont what else she could be smiling about beside me smiling at her. So thats a good sign, though ive never talked to her...advice? Could she like me still? obviously talking is the next step once i get back from a week long break but how should i break the ice since i feel itd be awkward me just saying whats up all of the sudden

Start by saying hey when you pass her, that should help?? If you have FB, then send her a friend request and maybe ask her about homework if you are near her at some point--if you have lessons together. Ask if she's goin on some trip that you are going on and build it up till you can have a convo. like "how are you" and have nice, friendly conversations--but make sure you don't get friendzoned ^-^
