How do I get rid of Search.Snapdo?
Whenever I open a new tab (google chrome/IE/FF) I get redirected to this snapdo search engine.
I'm following all the steps this site is telling me (http://blog.anvisoft.com/adware-removal-...al-guide/) for google chrome with windows 8, but none of what it's telling me to do is working. Snapdo isn't appearing in my control panel for programs to uninstall, there's no extension for me to disable or delete, no nothing. So I'm stuck on how I'm supposed to get rid of this when I can't actually find anything to get rid of. I have McAffee but it doesn't seem to get rid of it. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Go to Uninstall A Program and uninstall Snapdo.com and change your search engine to google or whatever you were using, Also uninstall it from your browser (look in add-ons)

In your case, it is complex to get rid of Search.Snapdo by manual. Meanwhile, you are not able to delete it through Control Panel. But you could try to force uninstall Search.Snapdo with program removal tool.
And the step-by-step Search.Snapdo removal guides are similar with the ask.com removal below in the video. You could have a try. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrGzH8JSR-g Meanwhile, there is an example video for telling how to force delete programs in your pc. It shows you how to operate the processes of "Force Uninstall" function including moving icons or folders to delete the program and its related files. What you need to do is to follow the Next steps of the screen until you finish the program removal. This operation can be well used in all programs that you want to uninstall by using software uninstall tool. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pck_ZQY0fCo |
