Very descriptive question, possible reasons could include having a virus, had a bad download of chrome, too old of a computer or a more common reason is you installed a new virus scanner&#x2F;adware program that blocks it from opening.

Update error possibly. Uninstall, download a new version and reinstall. This might work out the issue.
