Why won't my smartphone connect to my home wifi?

I used to always connect to my home wifi. My laptop will still connect to my home wifi, but my phone won't. I've even tried to turn off wifi in my laptop and just use my phone and it still won't work.

I click on connect to wifi and wait and it says that it's connected. So then I wait a bit more, and it should say sign in, which is where I type in the password and it should start working. But now at my home wifi it just says connected and the sign in option wont come up no matter how long I wait. Why does my laptop work, but my phone doesn't??

Try resetting your router.

Make sure you put in the right password if that don't work restart your router/modem.
