How to redirect my Tumblr URL to a new URL?

I changed my url on tumblr for the holidays, and people know me by my old url, and I want people to be able to still find my blog. I want to redirect people when they go to my old url and take them to my new one. I've tried like a million codes but none of them work! I don't just want to put my new url in the description.

try this html code (you can just put it in your description, the text won't actually appear on your blog)
<meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="1;url=xxxxxxxxxxx">
replace the x's with your url and you can edit the 1 after content= to change how long the page waits to refresh (1 for one second, 2 for 2 secs, etc) hope that works!
