How long before I should text?

Im a dude. I found a girl on fb two weeks ago and started texting her. The second time of texting her I asked for her number and she asked for mine. When I message her she'll take awhile to message back and I've mostly message on fb and she has always responded back. I have talked to her once, but it was for 5 mins. I wanted to meet her, but she would put it off or later this week would be better. Last time I texted her was Saturday and today is tuesday. She has told me if i was annoying her she'd tell me, cuz i ask her. I want her to text me first, but so far she hasn't.
What should I do? Do you think she likes me? Text her? Wait it out? Give up? Do you think she wants me to start the messaging? Is there a girl texting rule I don't know about? I would appreciate some help from the lady's on this.

I think you should text her because I like it when guys text me first( it's nice knowing they like talking to me) but she probably wants to talk to you but doesn't know what to say. Personally I don't think you should call her because it seems very eager but If you do call her, hang up after the first ring and she will either call you back or text you.

girls always want guys to text them first. honestly girls will tell guys if it isnt working out. if she is taking time out of her day to talk to a guy, that means she cares and likes them. dont keep asking if she is annoyed with you bc she will become annoyed that you keep asking. i recommend either calling her or texting her and act flirty and be cute with her
