Google Chrome Glitch?

Google Chrome does not always load webpages. There will be a flash of what the webpage looks like before it turns to a blank white screen with no presence of a "loading" box at the bottom of the screen.
When I quit and reopen Google Chrome it will work perfectly until an hour later where it will do the same thing.
I am currently using a mac, and have tried to look for Google Chrome updates and found none.
Please help!

Check again. For some reason Macs don't automatically update chrome. Go to chrome, about google chrome and see what it says.If you have to update, you will have an easier time downloading the newer one from the website since it crashes for me in the app itself. If that doesn't work, you might want to delete some extensions you downloaded. If that doesn't work, use another browser. Sometimes Chrome just sucks
