internet connection problem,?

Just recently, I have been having the problem where my internet connection drops every few minutes, and comes back right away. It is really getting me angry. At first, i thought it was my computer, but when I'm on Xbox Live, i get disconnected from live, so its definitely the router. I was wondering if its time to get new router or if something else is wrong. Thanks.

Reset your modem. Make sure you remove the battery if there is one or it won't reset.

I have the same issue on drop service are you using AT&T DSL? If you are that's where your problem is with the service.. Lately AT&T having problems with service connections to many people overloading there system. If your service is not AT&T will reset your connections try unplugging both your DSL modem or Cable Modem and Router and plug it in again with your DSL or Cable Modem FIRST then Your Router last this will renew all your IP and internet connection service. Hope it helps.

Note: If it's still dropping depending how old is your router most likely your router ready to go soon and yeah time to get a new one.
