How do you start a business?

I want to start an interior design business, like what do you need to do and the plan for what you need to do can be a couple of years as I'm just planning for the future so I know what I have to do and what to aim for.

I'm not from USA so i don't know the area or how you go about with registering the business BUT I can help with the other stuff.

If your going to start an interior business it's helps if you've done interior design in the past or have a qualification or a portfolio to show the work you've done.

Secondly you have to choose a name and a logo for the business, something professional which is catching and people will remember you by. A catchy, edgy slogan would help aswell. You also might want to consider a website which people can go on, business cards, advertising in local shops,yellow pages or on social media. Research other people's interior design businesses in the area to see what they do and what prices they charge

Lastly it's helps if you know someone who is good at drawing or computer CAD or design software which you can show what it will look when it's finished and someone who is good with money or an account to deal with the raw and fixed material costs and revue of the business.
