Instagram question?

I know a lot of people ask this question, but I kinda don't understand.
My Instagram is on private. I don't like to add random people, and don't like people that I don't know to see my pix. If people follow me and I click to accept will they see my pictures or I'm the only one who see their pictures because they wanted me to accept. Or if I accept they see my picture and in order to see their pictures I must follow back?? I don't understand

Yes because think of it this way, when they request you, they are asking your permission to follow you and when you hit yes they can see everything.

The only reason why you would be able to see everything with out you following them is if their profile isn't on private.

If you don't see their pictures its because their profile is set on private as well, and you would need to request them just as they had you.

If YOU are on private:
People ask to follow
You accept
They can now see your photos
AND unless they have their settings on private, you don't need to follow them to se their pictures.
