Why does my internet disconnect when my dad gets on his phone?

Okay, so whenever I'm home just playing my games, and my dad gets home the internet goes absolutely crazy. It will disconnect and reconnect on its own and it disconnects me from games, and I can barely even do anything. As soon as he turns the wifi on his phone off, it works fine. I recently noticed that its usually when he uses talk to text, and that my ping shoots up above 1000 when he has his wifi on.

Anyone help?

Oh, and another thing, I'm trying to fix this issue now, and this has nothing to do with above, but when I open Google Chrome it says "Could not open profile correctly". I believe this has ben a problem with many people in the past, but it's popped up for me now.

It is most likely a problem with your router. Texting and phone calls should not effect the internet since it uses the cellular network for that ( unless you have wifi calling set up) Also check you dads phone wifi settings.
