Why do people from other countries love Obama so much?
I don't think they understand that he's very unpopular here, lol.

My friends in Australia think he's so cool and they always tweet about him and like crop themselves into pictures and call him 'the coolest president ever.' My Canadian friend had him as her Facebook profile picture because she loves him.

My cousins in Ireland think he's the best; my cousins in Germany think he's so cool and iconic.

Why does everyone loves him so much? Seriously, most people here don't like him. Why are other countries so obsessed with Obama? They weren't with Bush. Most people hated him

Because we have fair and balance press while in the US you have to watch TV where people just blame him for everything for the purpose of gaining TV ratings.

If you don't like Obama and maybe you right wing friends don't like, doesn't mean other people don't as well. He was voted in a second time so I think you are just basing it on your very limited circle of friends in the US.

I don't think most other countries have the Fox propaganda channel running 24/7.

I don´t think most of the world especially loves Obama (i mean why should they?)
But fact is most of the world HATED bush!
So everyone who is not Bush is definitely more welcome.
(but this does not mean that Obama is a superstar).
He is just another US president (in general people outside of the
US don´t care about US presidents anyway).
Bush was just special because he really was hated in europe for example!

Obama benefits from the contrast between him and his immediate predecessor. It's like of like hitting your hand with a hammer because it feels so good when you stop! 8^) Bush's foreign policy was arrogant and unilateral and our allies didn't enjoy being pushed around. In fact Obama won a Nobel Peace Prize just for REPLACING him!

Also, you might wonder yourself how such a crooked, dishonest, incompetent, anti-American man could get legitimately elected president TWICE. Even -after- he 'shoved Obamacare down our throats'! Maybe the majority of Americans don't share your passionate hatred and fear and loathing of having a president with an ® after his name.

Maybe it could just be that Obama is and has been working harder than any other president in eighty years to make peace with the other nations. He did find peace between U.S. and Iraq and has done other peace making events but all you hear from the right wing force is that "He sides with terrorists". Nope, he's out to appease those that feel offended by us and, done rightly, that is justice. It beats that pants out of all of them thinking of us as the "great satan" now doesn't it......................Some right wing talk show host balked about Obama "bowing" forward to a chinese ambassador when he arrived, and said that any other president would not ever bow to any other nation or "stoop so low" to anybody else but would only let them know we were the toughest guys on the planet, arrogant......No, I think Obama is on the right track. And it is the Chinese tradition of politeness to bow when greeting some one. And it is good not to be arrogant. It really is not that difficult to understand why Obama is as liked as he is. Sorry for the right wing hate that still lives here in our nation.
