How do I get more Instagram followers?

So basically, I am a 14 year old photographer and I post some of my work onto my Instagram account, @SmoshShay. I've been told loads of times that some of the stuff I do is really good and I deserve loads more followers... Loads of people I know have thousands of followers, how do I get more?

OK, checked out your account it looks pretty cool, you're really talented! one thing i would suggest is if you want more followers to post less personal stuff/get a seperate personal account to post stuff like your martial arts grading etc, also use some hashtags so people can find your stuff, like #nature or #photography or #autumn etc. this is where a lot of people go when they are looking for good photography. good luck!!

You can do it easily by the just following these points....
1. Look at a variety of pages.
2. Follow your favorites. In general, if you are posting photos that users find valuable, they will quickly follow you and encourage others to do the same.
3. Comment on the photos that you enjoy. When you feel like you've got a sense of the way Instagram works, start leaving comments on pictures that inspire you. Spreading feelings of goodwill is a great way to increase your own base of followers.
4. Find and invite your friends to join.
