google chrome usb stick download ?
google chrome and google have both been uninstalled from my other laptop and now i cant access the internet at all, though the internet does work, i can still sign into msn. I have tried to restore my computer to a point where google was still installed on my laptop but there is a disk OC: error that i cannot seem to fix. I need some help. I want to somehow get google chrome onto my usb stick (im not to sure howto do this as i dont want to copy shortcuts, obviously they are usless) and onto my laptop. Can i even do this? How? Or if you can help me out in any other way or with my other problems please give me a answer/s.
Thanks.

what you want is doable.

Using a healthy computer go to the Chrome download page and download the installer program. (If your browser asks if you want to "run" or "save" the file choose "save".) Put the installer program on your usb stick and take it over to the sick computer. Copy the installer program onto the computer's hard drive (just dragging it to the desktop is fine) and then run it. Everything from that point on should be like normal.

if u want to get google chrome back do this..
first u need a web browser so go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ie.html
download mozilla firefox.. transfer the setup to ur usb, copy the setup to ur laptop, then install it on ur laptop
after installing it, go to google chrome's website and download it.

personally mozilla firefox is awesome n u dont really need chrome.

Here you go, an installer that will copy a completely portable version of Google Chrome to your USB drive (or anywhere else) that won't change anything in the system that you use it in:
http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/go...e_portable

And a Firefox version too:
http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable

I recommend getting the entire PortableApps suite. which includes a nice menu that will list all your portable software:

1. Find a healthy computer.
2. Insert your memory stick or other portable memory device.
3. Use your healthy computers web browser to download your selected browsers installer file, in this case Google Chrome from google.com/chrome
4.When it asks you to "Run" or "Save", save the file to your memory stick.
5. Let it download, remove your memory stick and insert it in your PC with no browser.
6. Run the installer file.
7. Follow the instructions.
8. Chrome will now be installed on your computer.

ALTERNATIVELY

If you're using Windows, you will have Internet Explorer automatically installed on your computer, simply open that and download Google Chrome again.
