My friendslist is hidden on FB. If I add a friend, will the new friendship still show up on other's newsfeeds?
My friendslist is hidden on my fb.

So for example, if I add a new friend, will other friends on my list see in their newsfeed that I am "now friends with _____" or does hiding your friendslist also hide new friend adds from showing up in other's newsfeeds?

Best I Can say is try doing a search in the help section of Fb. Otherwise, what I got was this, Goto your timeline- Click on "FRIENDS" section under your cover photo- Click at top of page and select "EDIT PRIVACY" from drop down menu- select who you share your friends list with on your timeline.
