Has anyone been in a relationship through Facebook?

How do some relationships start on Facebook? I always wanted to know. I think it would be pretty hard because girls know when guys start flirting so they shut you down and don't even reply back. Even if you kind of know them, but haven't seen them in years they still won't reply back. Also, if you have mutual friends with them as well. I want to hear opinions and stories. I'm just curious, why girls won't give guys a chance at least. Some people I know been through this.

One of my first girlfriends i met at a camp then added her on Facebook. We talked for ages not flirting just getting to know each other then after a week or so started to get more flirty, i got her phone number and then i met up with her and asked her out and she said yes.
