Trying to make ex jealous! Would this work?
I broke up with my bf cos he was a jerk. I was thinking of changing my profile pic on facebook to a pic of me kissing pierre from simple plan (band) cos I met him before and god I love him! Its a pic of me hugging him and kissing his cheek. Should I do it or would I look mental?

I don't think this will make him jealous. If it was you kissing a male who he knew or who you worked with/went to school with (I don't know how old you are) then this may work. Guys get jealous when they're intimidated, when they feel that they can lose this girl to another guy. But, no disrespect, you have met Pierre once and probably won't meet him again and I doubt he will come and sweep you off your feet. He won't be intimidated by him, but he will be intimidated by someone you work with/see everyday.

If you are trying to make an ex jealous, that means you want them back because you wouldn't do this if you are happy with the person you are with. You wouldn't waste your time with immature revenge.

Ahh...school drama...I dont miss it at all.
Why do you considerate him a jerk in the first place? Why make someone jealous that you have dumped that you considered a jerk in the first place? Unless you want him back? DO you want him back? If that is the reason, you might want to rethink the whole "vengeance" route. It backfires. The only way would be for him to still have feelings for you. Thus causing him to react to you being HAPPY with ANYONE but him. So, the picture might be minimal...might cause him a slight twitch....a new suitor - not a boyfriend -....or many suitors trying to vy for your attention in sweet ways to get you to be theirs might just do it. Most jerks have a nice friend around them. Smile sweetly at him, even if you dont ever talk to the guy. Please dont go out with the friend just to spite the jerk, you're just setting the guy up for a fight or yourself for insults. Know that if you do this kind of stuff, and for that reason, you are just lowering yourself to his level. It would be better for you to just move on and let him stew in what he did wrong. It was his loss, not yours. And continue to life your life, whether he likes it or not. Its not his business anymore. Pretty soon, you will find happiness again. I hope you choose the right path for you...good luck |

Mental. It looks like you're an obsessed fan living in fantasy land. Your ex will laugh at you and say he used to date a crazy chick. Plus it pushes away any potential boyfriend on facebook because you'll look unavailable (due to real life or your fantasy life).
If you're trying to make your ex jealous then you're not really over him. You're still putting his feelings first (focusing on getting a reaction from him) instead of putting your feelings first (moving on with a successful romantic relationship). Stop trying to make him jealous. Stop focusing on him. Move on. |
