How do you get rid of annoying app notifications on facebook!?

Please help me. I have allowed access to a number of apps on facebook, but little did I know that i would get notifications every 10 seconds! Does anyone have the answers?

You can go to the bottom left hand corner of the screen where it says applications. Then click Edit Applications and delete all the applications you want. You can also edit the settings for each applications on that screen.

Just go to notifications tab and click on "see all" button. When you go there, there are many options showing from where you receiving notifications. Just remove the tick mark from there, where you don't wanna receive notifications again.
