connect to internet via desktop internet connection on my mobile phone?
I have sony xperia ray ST18i and I don't have a wi-fi internet connection, is it possible to connect using desktop internet via wifi? :confused:
I have already tried creating a new wifi internet connection, it has showed as connected on my PC but nothing changed on my phone. thank you yes, sorry I forgot to mention that I have a laptop not a desktop PC Ads |

You damn sure can't connect to the PC with WIFI if it aint got the hardware.

Google tethering. You usually do it via bluetooth. Your phone or computer might have a wizard to walk you through the connection. If I remember correctly, on (ubuntu) Linux it's done through the bluetooth manager.

it seems that you have a wireless lan adapter in your desktop. you may need to set some settings in your desktop to share the desktop internet connection to other device/s.
please refer to windows help and support for "internet connection sharing" Click Start>> Help and support and type "ics or internet connection sharing". |
