Bigotry Between Religious and Non-believers?
Why is it wrong and hateful when a religious express their views in their comments, everyone wanna bash and show their true hateful colors, but when a non-believer does it everyone is perfectly. I say to fix this problem, both groups should stay in their respected areas and leave the others alone.

Facebook is the perfect example for this. Religious people can comment on a religious facebook page when atheists suddenly comment on the path, but when the role are reverse everyone wanna complain about it. Rarely have a non-believing friend of mine tell me that a religious person commented on something involving atheist religious bashing material.

If you can't respect or agree on one's party opinion, then don't say anything because the moment you enter dangerous waters you're a troll and every other label because no one was bothering you, but you felt you needed to say something to look like a badass when you're not.

Not all religious brag about their faith or put others down, most stay to themselves and the only ones who do are only a handful, but lies and stories are made up to make it seem all religious look like hate mongols when really it goes both ways. Also, if you must insist on bashing someone's belief, you must be insecure about something because never have i been around anyone who have confidence in themselves bash something they don't belong to.

just remember the internet keeps record of all things so when you apply for work, be ready for when you don't receive an interview due to the hate messages and other evidences.

You can bash me for believing in God, but it won't matter because I never met you and you wasted your own time trying to belittle someone for believing in something you dont.

BTW satanism is a religion too.
Satanism is a religion that people "Believe" in. I don't see where i implied atheists are satanists so putting words in my mouth makes your opinion invalid.
Trying to out do the other in name calling doesn't make you the winner, it just means you just wanna belittle someone just to make yourself look petty because you cannot stomach the fact that someone beliefs in something that you can't change their mind about.
I also love how i didn't bash atheists or anyone in my question because I was demonstrating respect, but that's not mutual with the total lack of respect from the atheists commenting. Talk about class and if you're a parent you should feel ashamed because a parent should show more class.

Personally, I don't bash people for believing in one god or another, but I see plenty of people who do. I also see plenty of theists, Christians included, call atheists all kinds of names and assume all manner of bad things about them. I do not think it is merely a "handful" of the theists on here either, nor in real life.

What is with your last line regarding Satanism? You were talking about the religious people vs. non-believers. Surely you didn't mean to imply that non-believers are Satanists?

First, the "problem" you refer to doesn't exist. It's a straw man, fallacious and worthless.

Everyone is free (in the US at least), to express their opinions and "beliefs" (if they have any).
Everyone else is free to do the same, and to criticize others' statements.
Yes, it's that simple.

If you don't want your religious superstitions criticized, don't express them in public. If you express them in public, they're going to be criticized. Deal with it.
