Having problems with Facebook chat?

Ok, so here's the deal. I'll be chatting with a Friend and then, they go offline for no reason, and come back online about 30 seconds later. I ask them why they went offline and they say, they never went offline. Does anybody know what is going on or, how to fix this?

It does that to me as well. The only people who can fix it is the facebook developers. They are slow and terrible. That's my opinion of them. What you can do is refresh the page and they should come back online.
