How much could I make as a catalogue model?
Hello. I need a change in life
How much would I get a day for this type of modelling or advert modelling. I hope the good money is not just in London

if you need a change in life then go abroad or get a degree!!

You dont have to live in London to make money, i earn just short of £50k per year and work a few hours away from London, the money is out there if you work hard for it.

Most catalogues are shot in London unless they are swimwear shoots - then they are shot in LA or Miami or Greece and use local models
How much you get paid varies greatly - it depends which agency you are with, how much experience you have, and which catalogue you are working for
It's very difficult to get catalogue work as most catalogue companies only shoot twice a year for a 2-3 day shoot. A model will shoot multiple outfits for different seasons all in the same day. Because there is so little work there's a lot of competition so it rarely goes to new models. Normally you become established as a fashion model first, then move into catalogues
For example with Next, most of the models they use were already runway models and are signed to big London agencies like Premier, Storm and Models 1

Assuming that any catalog store would actually want to hire you as a model, they would pay you about £200 per week as you are an unknown model with no skills or experience in the modelling world. They will have to train you to act, walk and talk like a model and that means they will pay you peanuts if they ever hire you at all.
