Help me with this English sentence pls :/?
First of all, I am not American therefore my English would be just so-so.
So... A friend on FB commented on an article I shared, he said "I didn't think the people could be more tired of that issue than I am, now you proved me wrong!"

What did he try to say there? :/ Thanks y'll!

So probably your friend meant that he thought people were very annoyed/tired, but it turns out that the people were even more annoyed of that issue than he thought they were.
