How legit is this?
I was contacted by someone from 1818 photography who said his name was Sean Bernardo. He was looking for new models for a promotional shoot. They gave me a website and phone number for contact. Here is the website 1818photography.com. Are they legit?

I don't know them specifically, but no legitimate modeling agencies scout the internet and send people random modeling offers.

You normally pay photographers, not vice versa. How much is this going to cost you?
A photographer is not an agent who pays you
That company is only two weeks old so it's way to early for any complaints to come in if they are not legit http://whois.domaintools.com/1818photography.com
The website lists NO address - what sort of photo studio doesn't have an address listed on their website?

THIS pictures https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sam-Fine-...9486428475
Here he is again http://industryinsider.bloom.com/2014/02...-sam-fine/

The cover photo of ID magazine with Alek Wek (first row, 2nd picture) http://www.1818photography.com/#!fashion/c1n0f was shot by Mark Mattock for the April 1998 issue, not Sean Bernardo
The Russian Vogue cover on that page with Naomi CAmpbell in the pink wig was shot by Steven Meisel, not Sean Bernardo http://forums.thefashionspot.com/f78/vog...99041.html
In fact all of the pictures on that page that I've looked at were shot by other photographers, so it's not legal to post them on his page and pass them off as his work. He is required by law to credit the photographer if he uses photos on a website or pay a licensing fee.

The website is only a couple of weeks old and its registration is hidden behind a proxy.

I would be very wary.
