Laptop Internet Connection?

Okay so I have a fairly new HP laptop that's just over 3 weeks old. It has worked fine up until now but for some reason it won't access the internet. The confusing part is not really this though. The laptop says it's connected to the wireless internet connection but when I attempt to access a website it comes up with an error page that you would get if you didn't have an internet connection. Weirder still all the other computers in the house are all connecting to the internet. Not sure what's wrong help please.

If your internet is password protected, you may technically be able to "connect" to the internet, but not "access" it. It's weird how it works sometimes. Go to your preferences, or wherever you can look up info on your internet connection and check.
