Why is my internet really slow all of the sudden?
My internet connect so suddenly slowed down to the point that I can't even stream a simple video. I think something is wrong with my connection because only my laptop is having problems. Why I try streaming a video on another device it works just fine.
Also when I go to a Starbucks or somewhere else that has WiFi, I don't have the slow internet connection that I have at home. What could be causing this? Here is what I have tried: - Restarting my computer (A few times...) - Turning off my modem and turning it back on (a few times...) - Scanning for viruses (Found some with Avast but the were deleted) - Scanning for male-ware (Found some but they were deleted) Ads |

Could be a line issue or your router. You need to contact your network provider and flag this issue. They will resolve with a signal boost or a replacement box.

Restarting computer only helps with your computer feeling slow after leaving it on for days or using a program for hours. Thats usually when you restart.
Turning moden on and off just restarts connections, if it is broken, that won't fix it. Scanning never hurts. The main issue for lag is a few things 1. you didn't pay your bills 2. a wire could have been ripped, look at all the wires. 3. if you have wifi, disable it and use the modem/routher only with wires. Maybe someone hacked it and is using ur internet causing it to slow down. 4.after doing all that call company to have them check it, its free. I done this a few times. 5. The most likely of all, they are doing maintnance in a nearby telephone poll causing it to slow down. 6. next likely, issues with the company, this happened to me once for a month. The company in my area was having terrible issues, wouldnt work for half the day. I complained and only paid half the bill that month. |

Its probably the WiFi connection, I always have the same problem when I'm using the laptop. Maybe you just need to connect the charger
