Why is my ask a question box in yahoo answers covered by an ad when i use google chrome?

I use Chrome and have never had a problem such as you describe.

I'd guess that you need a more effective pop-up blocker. AdBlock Plus works very well on Chrome. Here's the link to install it on Chrome:
