I have a facebook profile pic with 100 likes and some comments. Now I edited that pic (changed colour). What I want is to upload the new edited pic but it should have 100 likes and the same comments.

just like the new edited image takes the place of the old image but everything else remains same.

Sorry to break it to you, but as of now, u can't do that on Facebook.
You'll have to start over for your new profile pic. And seriously dude, it's okay to start off again with 0 likes. Knowing that you've reached 100 likes is already good enough. Plus Facebook likes shouldn't be the solo concern of your life.
