Is my boyfriend over-reacting about texts and FB?
When I'm with my boyfriend, I will ocassionally answer a text from one of my friends, or text them. I'm talking in the course of an evening, maybe 3-4 at most. This last weekend, I answered a friend back and then while my boyfriend was off doing something, (in the bathroom or smoking a cigarette outside) I updated my status on Facebook. He went off on me when he first got there because I answered her back, and then later, when he saw I'd posted to FB, was complaining that I don't love him, that I must be bored with him b/c I had to do that. I think he's over-reacting. He asks that when we are together I don't text/talk to any of my friends, and certainly not go on FB. I think he's over-reacting, especially b/c I'm not an extremist. I'm looking for reassurance that I'm not in the wrong..

You are not in the wrong. He seems to be overacting. I can see his point. He probably doesn't want anyone else to think that you are so bored hanging with him that you had to go on fb. It really depends how often you see him. I sometimes find it rude if I'm chatting to a friend and they go on fb. But I do browse fb and text when I sit with my mum. I don't like to do it as I do see it to be slightly rude but there is no reason for him to react that way at all, especially about texting.
