Facebook problem! Help?
My family cannot know I have Facebook cuz they're incredibly strict but I already made one a long time ago & I post pics & everything was fine. Until 2 days ago my aunt & cousin requested on Facebook. (I guess they searched my name) I freaked out & deactivated it but I want it back( don't want a new one cuz I have many friends) is there any solution or way for me to reactivating it without them noticing(I'll probably remove my pic & make it private)

Hi if i was in your position i would firstly just not accept their request and i think you might be able to block so them so try that and maybe put a cartoon picture or a picture of yourself but like your face is not like right in the middle of it Tongue but

Facebook provides a full range of privacy tools that enable you to control who can see your profile, pictures and status updates. With these privacy tools, you can completely hide your profile from other users on Facebook. Depending on your needs, you can either hide your profile from specific users or you can configure your profile to be invisible to everyone except friends or friends of friends. On the other hand, if you only want to hide your profile when you are signed out, you can do so by deactivating your account.

All the ways i was going to explain are on this website so just use this link down below and i copied that first paragraph as you know it gives a little intro so here the link
http://smallbusiness.chron.com/hide-myse...29978.html

I hope this helps and hopefully you pick me as the top answer also your aunty & cousin may not even say anything to your parents if your cousin is your age or young i doubt they will say but your aunty might and if you add her you can block her anyway so i hope this helps Smile

Listen u can reactivate it..then do these steps.
1. U can block them in facebook(ur aunt etc)
If they search ur name they will not find you. As if ur account didn't exist.

2. OR ucan accept their friend request and add them to your restricted list... people in the restricted list can only see changes that you make publicly visible.. so change ur privacy settings and make it visible only to friends..

Its upto you now..
Goodluck

Removing your Pic And Set Everything to Friends Only is The Only Thing you Will Be Able to Do Unfortnately Tho You Can Not Turn Off the Option To Search By Name So If They Wanted to They Could Type your Name in and Find your Account From There

I can only shake my head at questions like these.

Your family is strict and won't allow you to have Facebook, yet you go behind your parents' backs and make one anyway.

Well, you were caught. Do you think your aunt isn't going to mention this to your parents?

Why don't you try some honesty? Talk to your parents and ask them if you can have Facebook (if you are over the age of 13). Have them read the article I'm linking. There are guidelines in it that you all could review. You and your parents can pick and choose which rules to follow so they feel comfortable allowing you to go on Facebook.

You need to show them that you can be responsible and by going behind their backs you are showing them that not only are you being irresponsible, but you are also not worthy of their trust.
