But now a guy is about to ask her out...always around her making her laugh and stuf like that.... we have never ever talked execept from exchanging smiles....so i wrote a letter .... Please tell me if theres any thing wrong with it...what else should i add to it?...are my chances low coz of this dude? i ve never had a conversation with a girl for more than 3 minutes so please help with this letter.......

Your letter is HORRIBLE. Start over lol. It needs more confidence. Don't apologize for "bothering her". Girls don't like that. Take charge. Also, your grammar was horrible and the whole thing confused me. Since you've never talked to her, you need to keep it short and sweet and to the point. You also don't make it clear that you want to hear something back from her. Try something like this:

I know we have never spoken, but I wanted to let you know that seeing your smile is the best part of my day. When do you have some free time? I would love to take you out and get to know you better. Sorry it's taken me so long to ask.

Your letter is fine. But what I definitely think you should do is add a way for her to contact you back (so you can know what she thinks too). Like ask if she can respond (even if it's a rejection) by writing you back and putting it in your..locker? (Sorry idk the setting or how old you are). But definitely add a bit of "If you'd like to respond (even if you don't like me back) will you write me back and give it back to me when you see me?" Or have her email you or fb msg you or something. Just a way to respond.
And maybe if you wanna add something to the letter you can explain why you like her (bc thats always good to add since she wont know since youve barely spoken two words to her) and you can add why you havent said something after all this time (something else she might want to know) Why you waited so long (after she's already talking to someone).
Just do all of that and hope for the best

just be straight with her. and even if she ends up with this other guy don't get down on yourself. talk to her and become friends and from there it can grow. my girlfriend of 3 years did the same to me other than we talked more because we worked together but she realized that he wasn't what she wanted and we have both been happy for 3 years together. to kinda go against the other comment you will only have blown it if you give up when it gets hard. you don't know how she feels, you need to find out. good luck.
