My friend on facebook asked me to go out with him!?

Well my friend asked me on facebook if i would go out with him, but i'm not sure if it's him, people frape other people a lot so it might not be him, if i say yes i will be embarassed if it's not him, if i say no then it could be him! any suggestions? thanks!
