Upload & download INTERNET CONNECTION HELP? ?
The website, BlogTv allows you to broadcast live and watch others on webcam. It always freezes on my computer though. After around 10 minutes of flawless viewing, the video and audio will suddenly freeze. I have to constantly refresh the page, and when i do then its fine. I have the most up-to-date flash player downloaded, and I have no other problems with internet.

I have found that the site needs at least 400 kb/s upload speed and at least 1500kb/s of download speed. My internet is 190 kb/s upload and 1948kb/s download. Does this mean I cant use this site? Other live sites like Runescape and iSketch also do not work.

However, my friend's computer does work on BlogTv and her connection is only 1071 kb/s download and 146 kb/s upload..? Maybe there's another problem other than internet?

Please let me know, I have no idea how to approach internet connection problems! xx
I did the speed test. Download rate: 1948 kb/s and Upload rate: 190 kb/s

Is this too slow for the requirement?
Hey, thanks for helping by the way Smile ..Ive compared all the flash players and Active X controls with a working computer, and everything was the same. So I doubt its to do with the software (i.e. no use in downloading anymore) Can insufficient RAM cause freezing? I have 512 MB which might not be enough...?

Visit:
http://www.speedtest.net

and initiate a speed test. At the end of the speed test, it will give you a picture URL. this picture will have your internet speed in details. tell me that url and let me help you.

In my opinion, you dont have any problem with your internet connection because your connection is very nice (2 mbit)

you might have another problem. for example, you may have problems with your flash player, operating system or any else. I have checked their website and found that they are also giving their users the opportunity to use a free software when making broadcasts. just try with this software. if you have success with the software, we understand you are having problems with your browser/flash player.

look at the faq and try to broadcast with their software:
