How can I fix laggy HD streams?
I watch a PC game online (League of Legends) and when I watch live streams the video sometimes pauses and un pauses like it is having trouble buffering. I have great internet (Fiber Optics about 130 mbps) while im surfing web or even playing games but sometimes when I watch streams it drops down to liek 15 mbps, any idea why this is? Also my graphics card is Nvidia GeForce GT 640. Im not crazy good with computers but I am fairly coherent of the software and hardware and the way they work and i would assume these problems i am having are from bad internet or bad graphics card but maybe im wrong. Anyone know how to fix this or can give me advice or recommend a part for my computer. Also can anyone explain how a multimedia card works?

Just because your speed test on some different times shows high rate does not cover the entire path from video source to you at all times. Rates of download vary according to load on any particular part of the Internet that you are using at that instant.

Probably the need for more internet speed. I am running 20 to 22 Mbps and have no problem.

Buy a better computer with a faster processor and better graphic card.
Replace the graphic card with a better one with more dedicated graphic memory. Upgrade your Internet service speed. |
