need help with google chrome problem?

when i try to close a tab on google chrome it say "google chrome is not responding" can someone tell me how to fix it?
internet explorer is working better for me atm but i like chrome better

I would re-install google chrome it sounds like you may have a toolbar or some other add-in that is crashing when it is trying to close. this is rare with chrome and is not indicative of its usual performance.

It could be an add on that's causing conflict. Try disabling any you've added recently or that have been updated recently. If this does not help, reinstall it and it should fix it.
