How to get a hair bow to stand up rather than lay flat on my head?

I'm not sure if that question will make a lot of sense but I can't find any pictures. But I think Camila Cabello from Fifth Harmony has a bow in her hair in her twitter picture the way I'm trying to explain. But I've tried teasing the area of my hair I want the bow to be but it doesn't work. I think it might be cause my hair's too thin or there's a better way to do it. I mean it kind of works if I tease my hair, but you know, it falls the second I move my head. The bow I have has an alligator clip in the middle.

Try using more hairspray and bobby pins or get a more puffy bow
