problem in Outlook 2007 login?

I'm getting a error " enter network password " in Outlook while setting up the gmail. can any one give he resolution for this. the error dialogue box is contains the below infor
Type your user name and password
server : pop.gmail.com
username:
Password:
<checkbox> save this password in your password list

when i'm entering the user name and password it is asking again and again
