Is it legal to use a link to another website on my own webpage?
I would like to direct viewers to an image of a product that is posted on another website. Is it legal to add a link to that website on my webpage?

Yes it is legal to link to another site, but I think you may need to state you don't have any but you may have to clarify you don't have any business relations, or ownership of it.

Provided that you don't infer you are licensed to sell that product when you are not, or they'll come down on you like a ton of bricks.
The web site linked to may gain additional sales. I think I'd them ask first. |

If you are directing viewers to their page via a link, then there is no issue, if anything, linking to someone else's page is in their favor and benefits them.
But just to be clear, you cannot use anything belonging to someone else for your profit. You have to give credit to them on your website. |

Yes, it is legal as long as you put the proper attribution...
