My google chrome just displays white pages that say new tab?

I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but it does not work.
U am able to type things in the search bar but if i try to search it still shows a blank white page and after a while it say the page is not responding. It just happened after i watched a youtube video and closed it and when i opened google again it was a nlank white page.

Chrome works a bit differently from other browsers. Type some search words, or the name of a website, into the address bar.

It seems happening many time . . . You just make your entire browser setting to be default and then set your page in new tab event.
