first question is, how do I resist the call of masturbation and porn as a christian. He wants to please god but he is really being tempted by it. He wants to ask himself but he's imberesed. Any advice.

2nd question- is are you a bad christian if you don't feel god on a regular basis. He says he feels a void and he really needs god to answer his question, but he can't feel him and he says his prayers are never answered.

Not feeling god is normal in people who deep down don't believe. The void and eagerness to please this god is an attempt to play tricks on your own mind to get yourself to believe (despite the nagging feeling inside that it doesn't make sense).

Been there. No longer a believer. I finally stopped torturing myself.

If god didn't want him to play with it, he would have put it some place harder to reach.
Just make sure he washes his hands before he handles food, or shakes hands with the pastor.

We're all bad Christians. We all do stuff we wish we hadn't, and we don't do stuff we know we should have. I don't have a pat answer for you, but the urge to masturbate is very strong, and most of us have given in to it thousands of times, so either we're all going to fry or you don't have much to worry about.

I don't think this is a big thing with God. I suspect she's really wishing we loved more, if anything.
