What can I do about this stalking?

Someone posted a picture of my loved one on twitter saying it's their loved one. I nicely asked them to take it down and they apologized and they did. I screenshot the post of it and I think they are a stalker can I report it to police? Or do I need more evidence? I'm from maryland

Don't waste the police's time.

Posting a picture of your boyfriend is legal.
Claiming he is their boyfriend is legal.
Taking the picture and the claim down when requested is nice.

Your time would be better spent in the company of your loved one rather than reporting trivia to the police.
