Is LinkedIn worth the effort?
All I know about them is what I read on wikipedia. It looks like it would be a big privacy tradeoff. All I'd want to use the service for is to spread my message, not make money.
Have you had a productive experience on LinkedIn? What about any negative experience, loss of personal info, or been harassed or stalked? Ads |

I do not use it; I reside in a smaller community and work at an office job. I have heard of several blogger friends who use it avidly.

There are sure a lot of good feedback about Linkedin. Aside from connecting to professionals in your niche, you get exposure to a lot of opportunities. As for the privacy, you just need to be selective on who you are connecting with.
