why does my facebook keep showing these stupid ads !??!!?!?!? HELP!?!?!?

i know i asked this question already... but i have more info... i have these stupid annoying ads all over my facebook... i know u said its for money... but how come it doesnt show them on my downstairs computer and it does on my computer in my room !?!? like wtf ?!?!?! wut do i do???

The scripting settings are probably different from one Web browser to the next.

Web browsers allow you to turn scripting on and off. Firefox has an add-on called NoScript that takes this a step further and allows a user to specify which sites are allowed to use scripting and which aren't.

If you want to disable ads, disable scripting. Check out http://startpage.com/do/metasearch.pl?qu...+scripting and, when you click on that link and the page shows up, type the name of your Web browser (i.e. firefox, internet explorer, opera, safari, etc.) into the edit box at the end of the "web browser disable scripting" line. Your search will bring you to the answer quicker that way, as the process is different between Web browsers.
