We all know that Google ignore the no-follow links, instead it does follow those links to find and register the linked page. However Goggle does not uses that link to pass any Page-rank or consider it as back-link. But as i have experienced in some of my websites there is a back-link from no follow back links so it shows that Google might give some amount of weight to your link.

Also i my personal opinion no follow link are also good because they can tunnel some noticeable quality traffic to your website. example: A reference no-follow reference link in a Wikipedia article helped me to generate around 40 email subscribers in around 1.5 month.

No-follow links don't pass PageRank but are followed and indexed unless blocked by other means. With that said, Matt Cutts from Google has made it very clear that we don't want to go out and work on only dofollow inbound links, with blog commenting, for example. That's considered PageRank sculpting and can get us into trouble. No-follow links won't hurt our websites and they are expected by Google as part of natural linking.

I'd also mention that any link from quality sites can drive traffic and traffic is, and will probably always be, a factor in SEO.
