Does this guy genuinely like me or is he just looking for a girlfriend?
This guy is about a year older than me. We are both into drama, music, and we have the same taste in almost everything. So one day when were talking on FB, and he asked me out as friends, so I said yes. So we hung out after school one day, where we went on a walk and he met my mum - who seemed to like him. We got to know each other a lot more.. and it seemed to fit. I don't like him as a boyfriend, just as a friend. The day after school broke up for break, he told me by FB that he couldn't stop smiling about our hang out. He even complimented me a lot, saying I reminded him of flowers and summer. He kept asking me when I wanted to hang out again, and I truthfully told him the days I was busy or wanted to stay at home. But then the next day we were talking again, and he asked me out... on a date. I told him apologetically that I only saw him as a friend, and he was very understanding. We even spoke like normal friends later that day, him telling me about his dad who left when he was 7. But today, I started the conversation whereas normally he'd be the one to start. We spoke a little, and he ended the conversation with 'I have to go', whereas normally I would. I have a feeling he just wanted a girlfriend, since we spoke about him wanting a date for his prom. Maybe he is hurt and choosing not to speak to me. Or maybe he just finds it awkward. I want to know what is happening. It's kind of a awkward situation, but I don't want us to stop being friends! I feel really bad..

well heres the thing...you dont like him as a boyfriend...thats it!

rejection is part of life, that well we have to deal with it and move on.

please never settle for less, if you dont like the guy as a bf then dont do it just because you feel bad, the relationship will end up being a disaster.

maybe if you just take it slow, get the know the guy a little more might help, ultimately its up to you. being in a relationship takes time...there is no rush anyways Smile
